YOUR FIRST VISIT
To become a patient at our clinic, first call 770.952.5353 to set up an appointment. Our staff will assist you in finding the best time to schedule your initial visit. To save time on your initial visit, our staff will text or email you a link to complete your Patient Intake Form.
What Happens on Your First Visit
1) Patient Intake Form
If you are unable to complete your Patient Intake Form online, you may download and print a PDF Intake Form HERE. If neither of those options work for you, our staff will provide you with a paper history form when you arrive to our clinic. If you have been in an automobile accident, you will be given an automobile accident form.
2) Consultation With Doctor
After your paperwork is complete, our staff will bring you to our examination room for a consultation with your doctor. At this time, you will be able to discuss your health concerns with the doctor and ask any specific questions you may have. The doctor will then determine if your condition is one that HP Spine works with.
3) Exam
Exam is the point where the doctor will determine if you show signs of spinal misalignment. We do this through various tests, including range of motion, posture analysis, orthopedic and neurological tests, and infrared scans.
4) X-rays & Analysis
If your exam shows positive findings for spinal misalignment, specific x-rays will be taken to create a 3 dimensional view of your spine. Your doctor will then analyze them to measure the exact degree of spinal misalignment and calculate a formula to correct the imbalance.
5) Report of Findings & 1st Adjustment
Your doctor will explain your exam and x-ray findings. You will be adjusted using the Orthospinology procedure with either of 2 instruments: the Laney Torque-Specific instrument or the Orthospinology Hand-Held instrument. There is no twisting or popping involved with either of these adjusting instruments.
